The pain from the toothache is typically a result of the very sensitive nerves in your teeth becomes exposed or being damaged in some way. As that nerve becomes damaged or unprotected, the tooth will feel extremely sensitive, which is why you’re likely to notice a toothache when you’re eating something hot, cold, or very acidic.
